  Jie LIU. Born in 1962, Professor, Major Research Directions: Western Constitutionalism, Social Security, Poverty, Chinese Culture
Academic Experience
Professor of Beijing University of Chemical Technology. Postgraduate Tutor. Once studied in Liaoning University and Chinese Academy of Social Sciences Graduate School. Got bachelor, master and doctor degree.
Studied abroad in University of Houston as a visiting scholar of Ministry of Education. Her tutor is Harrell Rodgers, the Chair of Department of Political Science. During this period, she was invited to teach Chinese Politics and Culture optional course for junior and senior students at Houston University and was deeply welcomed by American students.

2014-2016: Planning Fund Project of Chinese Ministry of Education:  Research on the Experiences of Poverty Governance in British and its Enlightenment for Contemporary China. Principal.
2011-2014: Planning Fund Project of Chinese Ministry of Education: Changes of the Poverty Line and Anti-poverty Policy: American Experience and its Enlightenment for Contemporary China, Subtopic Principal.
2004-2006: National Social Science Fund Project. Research on British Political Thought and Government Decision-making since the 18th Century, Subtopic Principal.
2004-2011: during this period she undertook series of teaching reform project of BUCT, including bilingual teaching of Government System of  Western Countries, bilingual demonstration class project, etc.
